A Wicher Garden is a pet friendly New York bed and breakfast and is pleased to welcome canine guests as long as arrangements are made in advance with the innkeeper. There is a lot of lawn and rural area to walk your dog on our large country property, and we are happy to provide a disposal area and doggie feet wipes for your use.

While we enjoy offering pet friendly lodging in NY’s Finger Lakes, it is our policy to make decisions regarding our guests’ pets on an individual basis and in advance.  Common sense is how we make our final decision regarding whether your pet will be allowed to visit A Wicher Garden with you.  The decision will be made with consideration to a variety of factors.  These factors include, but are not limited to, the size of your pet and your choice of guestroom, whether your pet has its own sleeping cage or bed, and your understanding that your pet must be leashed when outdoors and is not be left alone at the inn.  Most of these common sense rules are not an issue for the well-traveled pet and its owners. Please note that larger dogs may be limited to the Garden Room only.

An additional cleaning fee is not charged unless there is damage or excessive cleaning issues due to the pet.  Pets are not allowed to roam free in the dining and living room areas since we have cats of our own.  Cats are generally not allowed in the guestrooms due to allergies of other guests.
